Another poem by Ahae was the theme of this month's photo challenge. 

A Song of Spring 
The delightful sound of birdsong 
Can be heard through a crack in my window. 
I look outside, but cannot see the bird; 
I can only hear it. 
Perhaps it is perched out of view on a branch over my roof. Nevertheless, its song beckons and seems sweet to me. 
Although I hear that charming, beautiful melody, 
To express it is beyond me; 
I cannot reproduce that exquisite sound in my words or my writings. I know not if it be a lament or a song of joy, but it captivates me.
No doubt it is a song to announce the arrival of spring.

봄 부르는 소리
예쁘고 귀여운 새소리가
창문 틈 사이로 들린다
창밖을 살펴도 새의 모습 보이지 않고 소리뿐 지붕 위 향하여 뻗친 가지 위에 앉았는지 안 보여 그래도 소리는 귀엽게만 들려 예쁘게 여겨지네 귀엽고 예쁘게 내는 소리
듣기는 했어도 표현 못해
말로나 글로도 아름다운 그 소리 흉내 낼 수 없네 그 소리 우는지 노래인지 알 수가 없지만 정답다 아마도 그 소린 봄 알리러 불러대는 소리인가 봐.

; 따뜻한 어느 날!
촉촉히 비가 내린 후
맑갛게 씻긴 하늘에
점점이 떠 있는 꽃송이,
송이들이 봄을 재촉하며
노래하고 있는 듯 합니다
때마침 날아 온 벌도 함께...
